Featuring a medley of songs from Disney’s Lion King, six 13’s video is a sure family hit. New York’s acclaimed 6 member a capella group are stars of Passover parodies. This hit from 2019 may be their best. Check out their other Passover hits, taking on Uptown Funk, Cake by the Ocean and Frozen, to name a few.
Meghan Trainor’s hit song, “All About That Bass” turns into “All About The Plagues.” The video shot in 4k by Chuck Green, is guaranteed to be one that is hard to forget. “Because were all about the plagues, bout those plagues, No Pharoah.”
If you missed it last year’s Passover spectacular do not fret, Saturday Night Passover Seder hosted by Jason Alexander and feautring Dan Levy, Finn Wolfhard, Billy Porter, Idina Menzel & More is still online. The charity event raised more than $2.9 million for the CDC’ Foundation’s Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund. Check out the opening number “Dayenu!” and an incredible version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” sung by Ben Platt.
Last year, The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) released this wonderful medley of Passover songs. As the ensemble was in quarantine, each musician recorded their portions separately which were then
assembled into the final arrangement. The medley starts with an instrumental version of “Ma Nishtana,” and then leads into “Simcha Raba,” “B’tzet Yisrael” and “Avadim Hayinu.”
