Written in 1982 as a pacifist response to the 1982 Lebanon War, this
song was included on their 1986 album, No Easy Walk to Freedom. This
performance is from their live 25th anniversary concert in 1986.
Barenaked Ladies – Hanukkah Blessings
Frontman Steven Page wrote this sweet melody about Hanukkah and even
includes a recitation of the Hebrew blessing for the menorah candles.

A delightful parody of the 1950’s hit All I Want is for Christmas is a
Hippopotomus.
Matisyahu – Happy Hanukkah
Released in November 2012, the song helped raise monies for Hurricane
Sandy relief efforts. Matisyahu performed the song just before Hanukkah
on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
